Description

The anvil has the shape of the letter "T". The piece has a massive body, rectangular in profile, which narrows in the lower part, forming a sharp point through which it is fixed in the wooden support. In the upper part, the piece is asymmetrically flattened. The tool was used in the workshops of Grădiștea de Munte – Sarmizegetusa Regia for processing metal objects through beating.
