Description
The fragmentary piece made of limestone has a Hemispherical piece and is decorated with ribs. One of the lateral sides has a crack, while on the other side stylized water birds were featured. Such pieces were discovered in the sacred area and in the emplecton of the fortification from Grădiștea de Munte – Sarmizegetusa Regia. In the archaeological literature, it is assumed that such pieces had a decorative role, most probably, within some constructions from the sacred area of the settlement.
