The General Directorate of Monuments Administration and Tourist Promotion of Hunedoara County (GDMATP) is a public institution under the coordination of the Hunedoara County Council that was established in 2021 with the main purpose of protecting and enhancing the Dacian fortresses from the Orăștiei Mountains, as well as the historical monuments and memorial houses of local interest. Description

Only the upper part of the architectural element was preserved. The element was finished by a square-shaped spigot (all edges are beveled). Such pilasters were discovered in large numbers in the sanctuary of Grădiștea de Munte – Sarmizegetusa Regia, they had the role of delimiting the sacred space of the monumental edifices.
